After watching the above video I can definitely say I am a fan of the Lightwedge. My rechargeable clip on book light doesn’t even begin to compare to this one. I remember when I was younger I loved going into stores like Barnes and Nobles, Walmart, Target, or looking on Amazon and finding the cutest bookmarks, but they only held my page, never lighting up my reading experience! It’s a pretty genius product for a couple reasons. The first is it lights up the page without lighting up the entire space around you and it also can serve as a bookmark!
The Lightwedge is made from one single piece of transparent plastic that is equipped with strips of LED lights on them. When you turn it on the LEDs light up through the plastic, which contains the brightness so you’re not lighting up the whole space around you, just the page you’re currently reading. In a sense the Lightwedge is a ‘frontlight’ for your book as LED displays have backlight.
In addition to that, the Lightwedges flat sheet-like form doubles up as a bookmark too. Since it typically rests against the page you’re reading, now all you have to do is flip the book shut when you’re done and boom. This product also comes with a much appreciated auto shut-off feature that will allow you to close your book without worrying that you may over run the Lightwedge.
