If you are not yet familiar with the incredibly beautiful handiwork of Vezzini & Chen, then you’re missing out. Combining fascinating forms found in nature with warm lights and sleek textures, each piece is as breathtaking as the last.

Dive In

Dive In

Their latest collection, Dive In, celebrates shapes found in the sea. Carefully arranged glass bubbles mimic real life. Inside the bubbles are forms like that of sea creatures, each made of ceramic. This installation is made to run across a wall, giving the appearance of the sea’s surface. The bubbles are also lighted to give off a cheery, ethereal glow. While many home decorators look to helpful places like Creative Lighting to find creative wall fixtures, they won’t find one more creative than Dive In!

hexa main

Hexa

Hexa takes tumblers to a whole new level with intricately cut glass in various designs. Incorporating ceramics into the glassware’s stems, each is unique and clearly shows the attention given to detail. Every piece is handmade to resemble patterns and scenery found in nature. Anyone who loves to acquire unique glassware, such as the kinds you can find at Uncommon Goods, will really love the Hexa collection.

Radiolaria

Radiolaria

Another lighting fixture series, Radiolaria, is more of a tabletop size that would look excellent on a desk or nightstand. Its outside, made of hand-blown glass, encases a myriad of bone china spheres. Made for use with an E14 LED light bulb, the light is hidden by the spheres to present a rich glow, seemingly bringing microscopic organisms to life. Thanks to places like Ballacor you can always find special table lamps, but none perhaps so fascinating as Radiolaria.
