Pare Light Burns like a Coil
Posted on by admin

Reinterpreting the images of “dim, smoky huts and cabins,” designer Tapio Anttila has come up with a burning splint called the “Päre Light” to illuminate your terrace, balcony or a summer home. Made using a renewable natural material, the light includes a stainless steel base that apart from supporting the splint reflects the light as well. In addition, the case provides adequate space to store the holder, spare splints and matches. The Päre Light will be showcased at the second EcoDesign Special Exhibition, to be held as part of Helsinki’s Habitare 2010, in September.
