Have you ever considered the wasted products when you order take-home food? It’s really quite crazy. Plastic forks, knives and spoons, the napkin, and the wrapper to hold them all together. Usually an un-environmentally friendly Styrofoam take-out box. To top it all off, when were done with our meal, we just throw this crap away and it ends up in a landfill somewhere and wont degrade for years! Introducing Green Box, a new way for take home food. This cool invention is far more environmentally friendly. The fork, knife, and spoon are built right into the lid of the box. Green Box is constructed out of biodegradable material to avoid the use of plastics in the take-away food industry. The box is actually made with PLA, polylacticide, a biodegradable thermoplastic. I would love to see more of these in the food industry. I love thinking about just how much less wasteful product designs like this would be. Props to this designer!
