When I was younger I remember trying to make the shapes of animals and objects with just our hands. Sometimes they worked out greatly, other times they turned out pretty pathetic. This cool invention sort of takes that concept and turns it into a lighting solution! This is Bird In Hand light and it is based on the same concept of hand shadows. The hands are all positioned to look like a flock of birds, flying out in circles. The shadow that gets cast on the wall looks just like a flock of birds. The material used to create this lamp is ECOLOTEK which is a durable and fully compostable material composed of natural hemp fibers, minerals, and binder. This is a striking lamp to say the least and a conversation starter by all means. I think that this would be a cool invention to use in children’s rooms!
