R&R Associates
Mechanical Engineer
Qualifications:
- Experience in using Top down Design methodologies
- Experience with designing components to fit and function in master assemblies
- Understanding of component relationships and interfaces
- Ability to perform tolerance stack-up analysis
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes for sheet metal (bending, drawing, and forming) and plastics (injection molding)
- Understanding and experience in creating engineering drawings (datums, GD/T, etc.)
- Ability to generate multiple design concepts from womb to tomb
- Well versed in product development processes
- Ability to design plastic, sheet metal components and weldments
- Ability to identify and incorporate purchased components into design
- Past experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- 2 year Degree in 3D-CAD, but not required (Pro-e experience preferred)
- Hands on manufacturing and fabrication experience helpful.
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- New product development experience
- At minimum 5 years electronic product design
Responsibilities:

- Some Experience using Pro/ENGINEER (Metal, Injection Molded Plastic, Surfacing)
- 5 Years Experience in electronic product design
- Some project management experience
- Will be responsible for 3D CAD model and 2D drawing generation
- Preferred to be working with overseas vendors (China) but not a must
- Good communication skills, self motivated, team player
